Unlike
most so-called "restoration" cars this 1800 is NOT a basket case. It runs
and drives reasonably well. The engine is strong and starts easlily. The
transmission shifts well and the overdrive works. The body is rust-free (the
previous title was from California). There is some visible body filler that
is cracking from previous damage and the paint is showing its age. The
interior needs restoration as the dash is badly damaged and the rear seats
need to be re-upholstered. The headliner is the original and is dropping
from the roof. I have new door and window seals but they are not installed.
The speedometer does not work so I do not know what the actual miles of the
car are. This vehicle is in need of restoration, but with some work it could
be an excellent daily driver or with a lot of work it could be restored
beautifully
