This car has tons of potential but it needs a full restoration. The motor runs great, the brakes are new-with little effort this car could be a driving restoration. THe car exhibits typical Volvo 1800 rust with the worst area being in the rear trunk rim / lip- but not the trunk lid. The color was originally 94--which was British Racing Green--its now a Brown color-which has a Greenish tone in certain light. It doesnt really matter as it needs to be re-done anyway. THe top was rotted away and a new one will need to be made. THe boot seems ok. The car has a WEBER carb on it now. THe fuel pump needs to be replaced. I have seen 1800's much worse than this that have been restored- but I dont have the talent to do the body work. For the right-patient -talented restorer this might well be a project worth undertaking. I
