In 2003 the French brand Del Prado edited a Volvo 1800 ES miniature. I heard they have been available in petrol stations and from mail order firms. The only manufactured colour version is dark brown.

The Del Prado Volvo is similar to the Minichamps 1800 ES - but just only similar.

Looking closely you will find that it has slightly differences in the car-body itself and it is fitted with other wheels, head and rearlights, indicators, emblems, rear window and door handles, bumpers, windscreen wipers and washers, side mirrors and interior. The door windows are closed while Minichamps has open ones.

Del Prado sold this Volvo blistered on a black plate marked Volvo P 1800 ES and wearing a nice little Volvo emblem sticker. After having unscrewed the car from the plate you can read on the cars black and nicely designed bottom "Del Prado collection, 1/43 Volvo P 1800 ES, made in China".
