Since the year 2004 the Austrian specialist in Faller slotcars with name Bichler-Racing produces two interesting versions of 1:70 Volvo slotcars, a P 1800 convertible and a 1800 ES version.

These Volvo P 1800 miniatures, based on Bauer slotcars, have been available either as ready made slotcars on Faller chassis or as single car bodies to complete them with Faller chassis.

The german slotcar manufacturer Bauer uses exactely the same Faller slotcar chassis with the same features and the same wheels.

The Bichler-Racing cars look very similar to the Bauer originals, but Alexander Bichler created new matrices.

For example the straight side trims of the Bichler cars are eliminated and the bumpers are integrated into the car bodies instead of beeing separately as for the Bauer cars. They are thicker painted and different colour versions are available or to order separately.
