Mister De Koning from the Netherlands is the manufacturer of the smaller 1:87 Konia and AHC models and at the Houten toy fairs in the Netherlands very often you will see him selling his goods and life wood carving different miniatures in different scales.

He produces his wood carvings from one piece. Very interesting and artistic are the "half ready" made cars still showing their branch. Only the wheels are plastic and the tyres are  made of rubber. I think the most of his wood carvings are walnut tree and the complete 1800 S miniature with movable wheels is made from light weight Meranti wood with its decorating grain. I know that several other 1800 ES miniatures have been produced too.
