The English manufacturer Marque Models made very nice pewter miniatures fixed on noble polished mahagoni wood plates. The Volvo P 1800 was first available in 2001.

This miniature is a very nice interpretation of the early Jensen built Volvo P 1800 of the years '61 to '63 with the typical front cowhorn bumper and big wheel covers. A nice pewter shield with "Volvo P 1800" is fixed in front of the plate, too. The underside of the mahagoni plate is completely covered with protecting felt.

This collectors miniature comes in a noble darkblue and silver printed box with the text: "The classic car collection, a trademark of Marque Models limited, unique 1/57 scale series, silver plated pewter replica, handcrafted classics for the collector, made in England, collection originated 1986"
