In the year 2003 the German manufacturer Minichamps produced a superb 1:18 scale model using metal and plastic parts too.

This Volvo 1800 ES is extremely correct in form, proportions, details and colours. A must for every Volvo fan. Doors, back window and bonnet open, steering is functional, correctly designed bottom showing exhaust, motor with gearbox, axles, for example front brake cylinders and other very detailed features, marked Paul's model Art, Minichamps, Volvo P 1800 ES 1971-73. The motor department comes with all cables, decals and chassis numberplates, very original. And the interior is not less superb, for example showing all switches on the dashboard, with all knobs and handles and with velours carpet in the luggage department.

The 2003 produced Minichamps are bluemetallic and the one year later offered miniatures are goldmetallic.
