Modellauto Replica - the short form is Moa Replica - is a very early German manufacturer of metal kits in 1:43. They produced and sold their car kits and ready made miniatures round about between the end of the seventies and the middle of the eighties.

Moa Replica was the forerunner of the Tin Wizard kits and their Volvo P 1800 is a Tekno copy.

The chassis of Moa Replica and Tin Wizard is the same, but Moa Replica used the original bottom plates of the Tekno Volvos and removed the name Tekno, Denmark and the Tekno number 825. Only the "Volvo 1800" remained on the plate.

Moa Replica used the same bumpers and front grille as Tekno, but they replaced Tekno's whitewall wheels with silver wheels with an other kind of rubber tyres.

Tekno's glass, or plastic headlights, were replaced with simpler ones made of metal

Available colours were  white, red and black.The kits were sold in unprinted, simple brown boxes.
