The label R&M stands for Rob and Max Post, brothers from the Netherlands. I think they have produced  a lot of different individual Volvos and copies of other Volvo miniature brands since the early eighties.

This R&M miniature is a copy of the japanese M* tin plate Volvo P 1800 toycars.

Available as simple kits with a plastic chassis, with a sheet metal bottom plate wearing a small R&M shield, axles and metal wheels with rubber tyres.

There are nicely painted glossy ready made versions, too - but they have no clear or painted windows and no silver painted trims or bumpers. Some of these miniatures have whitewall tyres.
