Rob Eddie, a label of the English manufacturer Brooklyn, started his production of 1:43 scale white metal collectable Volvo miniatures in 1989 with the beige Volvo 1800 S marked as Rob Eddie No.1. Limited editions of 400 pieces in dark green and the red came later on.

In 1996, after having produced other wonderful Volvo and Saab types, the Rob Eddie No.11, Volvo 1800 ES came in blue metallic and for limited editions of 400 pieces in gold metallic, petrol metallic, green metallic and yellow. During the nineties Brooklyn very successfully produced a lot of Rob Eddie Volvo types.

In the year 2001 this manufacturer edited the next very nice copy of a Volvo 1800. The Jensen built P 1800, Rob Eddie No.22, was available in grey metallic and the limited editions of 400 pieces each in red, dark green and blue metallic. 2004 followed the white, of only 200 pieces limited, "The Saint's" Volvo P 1800 with number plates 71 DXC and the well known logo on the bonnet.

All Rob Eddies are carefully painted, well designed and have a high weight.

1800 S and ES have been sold in simplier glossy white boxes with the Rob Eddie signature while the Volvo P 1800 came in a bigger glossy light green nicely designed box with the Rob Eddie signature on as well.
