The most sold Corgi Rockets version is the white "The Saint's" car with a blue ST sticker on the bonnet and allways with blue seats inside. This version has unpainted black 5 spoke wheels. The bottom is marked: Volvo P.1800, Corgi Rockets and it has no tow hook. These miniatures have been offered blistered on blue and white printed cards with the "Strip 'n tune" key to lift the rear end. Sometimes this car has been sold inside of the autobatic speedset race game with looping and a nice picture of the Volvo P 1800 drawn on the cover.

The absolutely rarest Corgi Rockets are the red cars with black  bonnets like the Whizzwheels series, but they have the same bottom as the white Rockets, this time with a tow hook. The black wheels have 5 silver painted spokes and interior colours are yellow and the rarer creamwhite. These red and black Rockets have been available only as Corgi Rockets Super Stock set No. 1 with the Todd Sweeny stock car on a yellow trailer and a white dressed pit crew. Today this set is absolutely rare and extremely expensive.

Obviously Corgi used their white painted "The Saint" cars and overpainted them red and black for these Super Stock sets. All red Rockets with scratches show their white first painting and that's a good mark to differentiate them from the red Whizzwheels cars.
