He was in many films and TV series, British and American. He is probably best known as Simon Templer in the TV series &#8220;The Saint&#8221;  for us who are interested in the Volvo 1800. In the series he chased criminals with his white P1800. Often with a beautiful woman by his side. You can read more about the cars used on<a href=\"https:\/\/volvo1800pictures.com\/wordpress\/the-saints-volvo-1800\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> this page<\/a> and more about Roger Moore here on <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Roger_Moore\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wikipedia<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roger Moore himself owned a Volvo 1800S model year 1967 with registration number NUV 648E #22306. It was on display for several years at the &#8220;Cars of the Stars&#8221; museum in northern England. In 2005 it was sold to a person in the USA but before it was shipped over there it was renovated in England. At the time I was living in England and was lucky enough to have a closer look and take pictures of the car. I actually also got to test drive it for a short distance. <a href=\"https:\/\/volvo1800pictures.com\/0_car_photos\/S\/1967\/79\/1087\/Volvo_1800S_67_79_1087_NUV_648E_swedish.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Here you can see the pictures I took<\/a>.
