The database you are about to explore is the result of two intensive weeks of research in Volvo’s historical archives. With invaluable support from the archive staff, I reviewed over 47,000 microfilmed build sheets. Many were difficult to read, and some were missing entirely.
As a result, this database continues to evolve. I regularly update it with new information contributed by fellow enthusiasts through the 1800 registry.

I run the Volvo 1800 Register entirely on my own. I have no sponsors from Volvo clubs, companies, or any other organizations. My only motivation is a genuine passion for the Volvo 1800.
You may notice that I am not trying to fund the website with an overload of annoying Google ads. No hard-to-close pop-ups and no full-page ads like you see on so many websites today. I believe in having a small number of fixed ads combined with donations from satisfied visitors.
