Volvo sends workshop bulletins to it’s service centers and workshops to communicate important technical updates, service instructions, and potential recalls. These messages typically include:
- Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) – Updates on specific issues, improvements, or adjustments to service procedures.
- Field Actions and Recalls – Important information about safety-related actions that need to be performed on certain vehicles.
- Diagnostics and Troubleshooting Instructions – Guidelines for identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Software and System Updates – Instructions on how to update vehicle control systems and electronics.
- Spare Parts Information – New or updated spare parts, including recommended replacements and inventory instructions.
- Service Campaigns – Preventive maintenance actions or warranty extensions for specific vehicle models.
These workshop bulletins ensure that workshops always have up-to-date information to provide the best possible service and maintenance to customers.
We have some of these bulletins from the 1960s and early 1970s that deal with cars from that time. Volvo 1800, Amazon, 140 and 164. The collection is by no means complete and I welcome more if you have them, preferably in pdf format.
